It's been a while since I last updated. Anyway, I had to make a stop at the hospital yesterday. I'd been experiencing a headache that had been bothering me since Sunday. I spent about four hours in the hospital, having blood work, X-rays, and various scans done. They gave me some Toradol, which is like an extremely powerful Advil. Well, we've reached the end of the year, and it's been quite a hectic one. We've had to say goodbye to so many beloved celebrities, some of my favorites being Alan Rickman, George Martin, Gene Wilder, Carrie Fisher and Debbie Reynolds. May all of them rest in peace.
There were some good moments for me in 2016, though, including seeing the Beatles tribute bands 1964: The Tribute and The Fab Four, plus not only having the chance to ride behind the Norfolk and Western Class J #611, but also getting the chance to blow her whistle on two separate occasions. Has it really been nearly a year since my last update? Well, plenty of stuff's been going on with me. First of all, I'd been experiencing some pains in my knee. I had to see a few doctors before my problem was diagnosed as having hip pains. Also, during the year, I had the chance to see the return of the Norfolk and Western Class J #611, which had been in North Carolina being restored. I also had a chance to ride with the engine in July of last year, and plan to ride with her again on May 7th of this year. Also, my mother and I spent a few months singing in a local church choir, which seemed like a lot of fun.
Apologies for the long silence
