Is there a K7 group??
I am a professional photographer. I use a full frame for my work but I'm planning to buy a K-5 soon for my personal stuff.
It's nice to see there's a K-5 group on Deviantart, but I'm disappointed in the quality of the submissions. Is this group simply allowing every submission into the gallery? It would be nice to see some sort of moderation so only good photos are featured.
I want to submit my work to the group, but if it's going to be sitting alongside crude snapshots I won't bother.

joebbowers you don't need a full frame to do professional work! Just look at Conor Doherty or Benjamin Kanarek, they shoot fashion and they use Pentax APS-C
I have used several full frame and APS-C cameras both. While the difference may not be very significant on a computer screen at small sizes, when you view the image at higher resolutions or medium to large prints, the difference is massive. Not to mention that FF cameras typically have much better focus systems and better high ISO performance.

Besides that, I tend to agree, when I joined this group as a contributor, I was hoping to filter out what's not up to the standards of a great dA group but as opposed to other groups I moderate, this one never sends me stuff to select...
As a contributor, I can't change that, talk to the founder...
