The Reunion

Acrylic on cardboard. Based on the drawing with ink. A reunion is a depiction of two good friends living in two very different locations meeting again after many years. One lives in the country with a tropical climate while the other lives in a northern city with a cold climate during the winters. The central lines represent their journeys. They start together for many years, part, come back together for a while and then part again for a long time. They then come back together for a short period before departing for potential good. The lines also show very roughly the curvatures of the two women, albeit not very flattering.
