UPDATE PRIZES AND STOCK! :D + DATE EXTENDED TO NOVEMBER 25, 2019!! Hello dear friends, I'm happy to announce a serie of contests about book covers, the idea itself occurred to my good friend lauraypablo (https://www.deviantart.com/lauraypablo) when I published a journal about this matter, you can read it here: The theme for this contest will be "Love". Love has many faces and we all want to be loved by someone. When making artworks “Love” can be a huge inspiration source. Think about an impossible love between a prince and a farmer’s girl, or elf love, dark/gothic love, passional love, dolphin love, nature love, cosmic love, etc, etc, etc…  This contes

A human being should never be immune to the awareness and affects of disease, poverty, hunger, war, all that ails this world when we have the ability to actually help them instead of us fighting and vying for rank, posturing, while making more weapons. The is a brilliant moment, capture and the reality. I embrace it with my whole heart, not to feel sad but because this is reality, and how fragile we each are behind our masks and the charade... I adore poignant works of the soul and the human condition, so please, do not worry. I thank you and when I was humbled, it was also because you are such an incredible artist, and I have a long way to go. Your words and kindness are a balm to me, :tighthug:. Thank you so much!

Dear Gwyneth, I agree with you when you say that the human being is fragile and contradictory. In my painting, I tried to show that and to make a link between the misery and the human condition. The misery, in all continents, to all epochs, to all societies, is at the same time sordid and revolting because she lets many people destitute and in desperate need of external help and assistance. Among this people are innocent and vulnerable children who don't deserve such situation. The reasons for this misery, whether economic, war or natural disaster must not make us forget the immoral character of abandonment and the lack of solidarity that one part of humanity may have for another. I'm so glad you felt the same emotion I felt with this sad spectacle. Yours words touched me in turn Huggle! Heart . Thank you so much Nod . Stephane Hessel was a famous french writer who said that "indignation is the spirit of resistance" and "To create is to resist ; to resist is to create." I think it's true and every artist, when he gives a shape to his emotions can make this work of creation, this work of resistance ...
