'Hail, Lord and Steward of Minas Tirith, Denethor son of Ecthelion! I am come with counsel and tidings in this dark hour.'Then the old man looked up. Pippin saw his carven face with its proud bones and skin like ivory, and the long curved nose between the dark deep eyes; and he was reminded not so much of Boromir as of Aragorn. 'Dark indeed is the hour,' said the old man, 'and at such times you are wont to come, Mithrandir. But though all the signs forebode that the doom of Gondor is drawing nigh, less now to me is that darkness than my own darkness.'

JRR Tolkien: The Lord of the Rings: The Return of the King: Book V, Chapter 1: Minas Tirith

That's a great composition, and the blues are amazing.

Glad you like, I will hopefully be updating fairly soon with an interior view of the whole Tower Hall - additionally, apologies for my late reply to your wonderful comments. I'm exceptionally busy at the moment, sadly!

Denethor II, last of the ruling Stewarts. Went mad with Boromir dead, and his brother Faramir near death from having been too near a nazgul for too long. When he died, he irreparably damaged a palantir (scrying ball).

In my list of spells of Earth-H , Enstarring a scrying ball, requires a polished sphere of crystal quartz, as free of flaws & inpurities as possible. (glass will NOT work). Cast the Enstarr spell for scrying balls on it. (Not to be confused with the one for wands and the one for brooms). Will view any desired scene that is not shielded.
