Literature Text
A part of one of the oldest legends in these regions. Old inhabitants of our countries called them "the ones from fire". Devil's descendants they thought. They had nothing to do with the devil, for the devil isn't real. They are. Now they are forgotten. Perished from our memories as living, breathing beings remained just as a single word, so rarely used.
We have made a mistake by doing so... Dishonoring them like that. Even though they evoked disgust and struck fear inside our elder's hearts by the very mention of their name, we kept them only a legend, a stupid bedtime story to frighten our children. Another mistake... They must be honored, for they live and breathe among us... They feed among us... They feed on us... And, yet, they keep themselves away from our sight.
Some very few of us can spot them. Those few share the same pledge and the same curse with the eldest of their ancestors. To get to know them, you need to spot the wolves among people. All you need to do is think. Your eyes have nothing to do with it. They know when the ones from fire are after you, but they cannot always be there to save you from them.
Be aware of the looks from the shadows. Be aware of a soothing, unfamiliar touch in the crowd during your party time out at night. But mostly, be aware of the cold, lifeless breath stroking your neck in the time of your weakness...
They must not be forgotten.
They must be perceived.

taken a way
there’s no mystery in history
only in the betweens of here and now
waves of wishes, reminiscence of kisses
and the ache for more and once againwhen i’m here and there, you’re gone, you're gone
in a way, away, each day
and if i was to simply disappear,
in the way the wise ones saymy love, you’d be here with me

the Traveller
It was crowded in the tavern. Very crowded, even. It was one of those old ones that looks like it's been well lived in on both the out and inside. Faint grooves worn into the floor between tables as patrons shuffle their way through the crowd on the busiest evenings of the week. That being every day of the week. Existence in this bleak town a half day ride away from any other settlement or city pretty much required it.
This particular tavern was therefore the only place to gather that wasn't the temple and definitely the only place one could get drunk without anyone judging too harshly. All patrons of this place knew that enjoying the ...

Homeless
Homeless So bright and warm Like a candle turned down low. The smile that can lift up my soul, The embrace that settled like warm
honey on my heart. Eyes like the sea, never one color for
long, Changing like the waves. Your playful laugh and cocky smirk The roughness of your calloused hands Forever gentle on my skin. The look shared that said everything Without saying a word. The loneliness of nights spent far away Then I hear your voice through the
static And I am okay again. And when I see your smiling face, and
feel Your strong arms around me I am home. I thought you said forever, I thought you said always. And my heart found its pl...
