Introduction
Let us be clear about it, the Bible has awful things to say about same-sex relationships. In the Old Testament, men having sex with men or women with women was an abomination, punishable by death by stoning (as were many other things). In the New Testament letters, Paul does not argue that same-sex relationships are a bad thing, he simply assumes it. Same-sex relationships are unnatural, the sort of evil desires God hands people over to as a result of their disregarding the revelation of God in the world he created.
