Dark the woods and bright the sky.

I thought I was done taking photographs after turning around at the bridge. But as I was climbing the path to the upper rim, I looked up and saw the trees silhouetted against the sky.

Another late start on a beautiful, overcast afternoon at Letchworth State Park. Given that my big toe was still showing lovely colors from being badly stubbed a few days previous, I chose a trail without major ups and downs.
