Firstly I’m still running the Lantern jam (pdink.deviantart.com/journal/2…) … why, well I just don’t have the time to think of a new jam, or a bunch of time to draw any thing for it. So deal with it. So lets see some more Lanterns people, I know there’s more of you out there that said “hell yeah” to this jam so lets see some art.
Secondly I’m still employed… YAY! Things are going well but unfortunately I’ve pretty much mastered my job already, which means it should get pretty boring pretty fast. But hell its better than being broke and bored. I work on the 22nd floor of a 23 floor building and let just say for a person with the inner ear sensitivity of a drunken house cat its interesting to say the least. I can feel the sway every so slightly and if I look out a window… well I’m screwed so I don’t do that. I’m also being rather green and taking the Lite Rail in to work. For those of you that don’t know the Lite Rail is Denver’s alternative energy public transit train system. And before you give me any pats on the back, I’m not doing it to be nice to the environment I’m doing it so I don’t have to sit in traffic for two hours, spend half my pay on gas or pay out the ass for parking every day in down town. The train takes 40 minutes, cost less then gas or parking let alone both plus I get to look at all the weirdos… so yeah Train FTW!
As for TV, Heroes and Pushing Daises… they’re both back on for the fall season and I could not be happier. Enough Said!
I’ve hit a bit of a wall, artist block if you will. I can’t seem to think of any thing to draw. And while I don’t have a whole lot of time to sit and draw the time I do have is spent with me thumbing thru comics and then staring at a blank page. SO what I need from all you out there is some ideas… any thing really just so long as it’s not A) perverted, twisted or would other wise make the baby Gebus cry, B) something I’ve drawn a bunch before or at all really and C) boring. I’m not saying I’ll draw every thing people suggest but you very well may end up with Fan art if you play it right. Help me out people.
Lastly Deviant Features, you guys no how this works. First 10 or so people to respond to this with the word “ Pimp ” or any thing “ Pimp ” like will be feature here in this journal. I’ll wonder over to your page and find 3 things in your gallery that I think are cool and show em off. The Catch is you too will have to do this with 10 peeps.

Meet this guy during AFL 2 and his art is stellar. It’s not your usually comic style but is got a bunch of flare and I personally can’t get enough. He featured me so its only right that I give him the first go on mine.

Been a fan of this fellow for a long time, in fact his art is what pulled me into DA, so yeah blame him. His style is great and his imagination for characters is second only to the gods.

The mastermind behind DA’s biggest OC fighting tournament and another fellow I’ve been watching for neatly my entire DA career. His talent is only out matched by his cleverness.

This cat is super cool, just simply a cool guy with gobs and gobs of talent. With Michael Turner Inspired flare Slimmm’s art keeps us wanting more, which sucks due to the fact he hasn’t posted in a while…HINT! Mature Content

I know little of this fellow, having just gotten a taste of his art during AFL2. From what I’ve seen he’s got loads of talent and the imagination to feed it.
