I want to commission a fanfic but...Honestly, right now I'm really itching to commission someone for a fanfic. But at the same time I have a hard time finding any actual good writers. My usual fanfic writer I go to for commissions is on another hiatus. She's slow but her prices are perfect and her writing style is what I like most. She's also willing to write about absolutely anything and is also good at researching. It's honestly impossible to find anyone like her.To anyone who reads this, I have some spare points/cash I want to use on a fanfic commission or two (or maybe a comic commission). However, if you want me to commission you, there are some details you should keep in mind that keep me away from most fanfic writers on this site: If you demand cash payments, do NOT demand a rate of "100 words =$1" or anything higher I HATE seeing this around since it makes the whole thing needlessly expensive. This is because my country's currency is a lot weaker than the USD and for personal reasons I don't have PayPal and have to rely on a friend to pay for me on PayPal (and his currency is also weaker than the USD). This is why in principle I never commission people who demand Euros or even worse Pound Sterling. These people don't seem to understand that their currencies have an unfair advantage over everyone else and the USD is only used as a (still unfair) compromise. A rate of "100 words =$1" would in practice become "100 words = $1.5-$3" for me for the reasons I just described. My ideal rate would be somewhere along the lines of "500 words = $1" and my favorite fanfiction author has a rate like that, though even better she takes points. Point commissions preferred Because I don't have PayPal for personal reasons, I prefer paying with points. It's also more fair since DA Points are the same value for everyone on this site. That being said I still prefer not seeing something like "100 words = 100 points" but rather something like "100 words = 80 points" or lower. And I'd especially appreciate someone willing to take a badge to contribute to the payment since I have a shit ton of excess fragments lying around. Willingness to write about anythingToo many times I see writers on this site with restrictions and always ruling things out and this really upsets me since that usually cancels most of my ideas from the start. So a writer who is absolutely willing to write about ANYTHING with no limits (especially if they're a self-proclaimed NSFW writer) would be great for me. Most of my ideas have some level of NSFW as well though a few are SFW. But in general a writer willing to write about anything, especially in terms of unconventional ships and OCs as well as real life people would be perfect. FandomsOccasionally I've found some writers on this site who are willing to write anything and have prices that are fair for me, but simply don't know enough about the fandoms I'm into. So I'd like a writer who'd be more knowledgable and/or is willing to do research. On the other hand, if they're willing to write original fiction it may still work if they're still knowledgeable about the settings and scenarios I'm interested in because for original fiction, there are some scenarios I'm particularly in to that I'd appreciate people being willing to write about but sometimes people aren't aware of them. That being said here's an incomplete list of fandoms I'd commission fanfics for: Pokemon anime (the first 6 generations), Pokemon Mystery Dungeon, Star Wars (especially Return of the Jedi), The Lustful Turk, Jungle Girl and the Lost Island of Dinosaurs, Yu-Gi-Oh!, Yu-Gi-Oh! 5Ds, Teen Titans (2003), Justice League (2001), Batman Beyond, Superman: The Animated Series, The Jungle Book (1967) and its sequel, Aladdin (1992), The Little Mermaid 2, Westward Ho!, Dragon Quest IX, The Legend of Zelda: Phantom Hourglass, The Legend of Zelda: Minish Cap, The Legend of Zelda: Majora's Mask, The Legend of Zelda: Spirit Tracks, The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time, Ben 10 (2005), Luigi's Mansion, The Ocean Hunter, Peter Pan (1951), Scooby Doo, Frozen (2013), The Alien Invasion Survival Handbook, De Kiekeboes (mainly volume 39), and Doraemon. As for original stories, what I'd want would usually be historical fiction involving the Islamic slave trade or Orientalism, especially the Ottoman Empire and the Sultanate of Zanzibar; alien abduction fics are another idea, as well as something involving jungle or deep sea wildlife; Somali pirates and modern slavery in Mauritania is another idea. TimeOn one or two occasions, I've found writers on this site who were perfect in all of the points I described above. But they don't get back to me in months or YEARS (and still keep me waiting even now) and thus in practice ripped me off since I've already sent them the payment. So I'd like someone who's at least willing to give me updates every few weeks at most. Granted, this is the only reason PayPal would be better than DA Points since the former would let me launch a claim and demand a refund if they keep me waiting too long. I'd give someone a year at most for the entire fic.So yeah, this was both somewhat of a rant and a set of conditions for the ideal fanfic author I'd want to commission. Like I said I already know someone who more or less fits all of these points but she's on a well deserved break right now. So I'd like someone who'd be willing to write for me and fits all of these points. Also, regarding comic commissions, most of what's written in this journal still applies but with one difference: for comics, my budget is about $50/5000 points at most and I'd like a minimum of 7 pages to tell the whole story (though given my ideas it would probably need more).

If your group deals in helping artists get work, feel free to send us an Affiliation Request!
Hello, I will be looking for about 2-4 admins for this group.

Being just "active" on DeviantArt doesn't make you qualify. I've had many say they're "active" but never doing any admins work in the groups. So please bear with me as I go through the pending deviations and submissions, and I hope you all look forward to the future of this group!

Below, I will list the requirements that I am looking for:
  • Must be active in the group at least 2-3 times a week. (since I will be allowing 2-4 admins, the workload can be shared or split up)
  • Must have experience running groups.
  • Team player (must be able to work in a team and discuss in a mature manner when necessary, after all, you will not be the only admin)
  • Understand the group rules and requirements (knowing what is allowed or accepted in the group)
  • Being able to organize group folders (maintaining, adding folders, removing, and cleaning what does or doesn't belong)
  • Be able to help to explain to deviants/members if they have questions about the group and what they are submitting
  • Be able to go through pending submissions (vote process)
    • check the folders deviations are being submitted to (correct or incorrect)
    • check every submission to see if they fit rules and requirements
    • check if deviations comply with dA rules.

Furthermore, I am looking for admins who can or can create events for the group (such as giveaways, contests, features etc.)

:star: If you think you fit the requirements, please send a NOTE with answers to the following questions below. (If you send a Note to the group, it might be missed)

Your email should be titled: Admin PP App (dA name)

Question 1: What groups have you admin?
Question 2: What was your role in the group?
Question 3: How often do you check your groups during the week?
Question 4: What kind of events do you see in a group like this?
Question 5: How do you handle issues with members or deviants?

Thank you in advance for everyone who will apply!
If you require any further assistance at all, please ask away!
