You must have incredible patients to capture such detail and beauty.

Wow, I just realized that someone else also commented on the patient, so perhaps I should put some more thought into my comment.

There is a thin stand of web right below his feet that I found neat.

Sorry I don't have more to say. The colors and everything is great.

What an excellent little Salticid you've captured on film there. Great contrasting colours. Wow. :-)

The thing I like most about this is the extreme detail and beautiful color you are able to capture. You can see in the eyes the smallest glare of light, just amazing!

again great texture and colors

the lighting here is really nice too

i like how the field of focus fades away from the spider given more focus to the 'incident'

great job

hey there
I am katie. My sis ~ dimentional-intuitio told me of you, and I must say you have some very impressive photography in your midst. I like this picture, especially. This looks like what we call a jumping spider in australia. Fairly harmless, but cute, jumps everywhere and all the time, or course. However, they are too small to see really closely, but I've always wanted to, which i guess is what your picture allows me to see :)
So first of all, thankyou, because I've always wondered what they look like up close...very cute, i can see.
Secondly...looking through your gallery i can see you have three things a) a knack for finding interesting phenomena to photograph b) good camera skills and c) a good camera with awesome marco i bet every photographer would love, just as i would.
The lighting and colour in this leaves nothing to the imagination, it's simply perfect! But just out of it sunlight or your own light?
Sim ply the pose of the spider, the sunlight/light, the colouration and the way you've finished it off with border and whatnot makes it perfect.
five stars, my friend
keep it up!

this is a great shot .. the colours are just wonderful ... focus and composition spot on ... the blurry writing in the presentation is easily fixed ... :) I like it!

It is an awesome photo but the typo blur just ruined it! I loved the photo and then looked at the type and it was very unappealing...

I agree.. the blurring cheapens the image... the shot and colors itself are brilliant though..

My thoughts exactly.
