Completely soaked and shivering, I reached the entrance, hoping for a roof over my head. Only for this one night. It smelled musty and weird plants grew out of the ruined walls. I called quietly to ask for admission. The only answer was the flickering of the lantern. My heart was pounding. I shouted a little louder again.
A few seconds later, my heart almost stopped. Suddenly, loud circus music filled the air, deafening, a tremble ran through the ground, the plants began to dance and out of the darkness he appeared. On spindly legs he performed a pirouette, came to a halt, and raised his tattered cylinder in greeting, and asked with malicious glitter in his eyes, "What is your desire, my dearest?"
