After some back and forth, I decided to buy an APO. Since astrophotography is more of a side hobby to my nature photography, I hesitated at first. However, I’ve wanted more focal length than 135mm for quite some time, and I don’t like constantly exposing my Canon EF 100–400 L II to damp nights. In addition, its image performance on stars is honestly not great. So, I bought the TS-Optics TSFMA360 f/6 with flattener. Unfortunately, there aren’t many discussions or sample images of this APO available online. Still, after experimenting a bit with ChatGPT and looking at the two sample images I could find, I decided to go ahead and order it. I’m really looking forward to the first light with it — and if the image quality comes close to that of the Samyang 135, which I have no doubt about, I’ll be satisfied!
