Memoirs Chapter 77: Hammerspace

This is a scene I've been wanting to do a manga page of ever since I wrote it, since it's a purely visual gag that doesn't really come across as well in text.  I've adjusted the dialogue to add more context and make it less verbose so as to fit inside dialogue bubbles.  The original scene is this:

Hisui slid open the door to their room and almost jumped back as she found me already sitting in the middle of the floor, wagging my tail. "W... Wan-chan, how did you...?

Akagane lowered his pack to the floor against the wall and commented, "You forget, the bake-inu has been honing his youkai abilities and has mastered the art of flight." Well, I wouldn't go nearly so far as to say I'd "mastered" it, but I could control it enough now that I could make myself move reasonably in the directions I intended.

Now that we were in a confined room with nobody else looking, I was eager to finally switch back to my human form and be rid of the annoying communication barrier. However, I had neglected to remember the gigantic pile of stuff I had been carrying in that form, so I ended up transforming into a mass of luggage with little mushed hands and a poofy tail poking out from underneath.

"Ah, that's right, I was wondering why it took so little time to unpack today," I heard Hisui say.

Baka-inu...  Baka-inu indeed!  Forgot all about what he was transporting prior to changing.

Heh, the term Akagane habitually uses is actually "bake-inu", which loosely means "dog monster".  But when he's being a moron, "baka-inu" (stupid dog) would also apply.
