This bowman and swordsman are part of a larger set of 28mm scale paper minis I'm in the process of producing for tabletop gaming, such as for Pathfinder or D&D. They're printed double-sided (with "front" and "back" views) on laminated cardstock, precision cut to shape, and slot-mounted on round 20mm plastic bases. I have many races, classes, and themes planned, but this first set will be comprised of human fighters and spellcasters.

Feedback is welcome and appreciated. :)

All artwork was created by me in Photoshop with my graphics tablet.

Your figures look great! it will be nice to have a card figure producer selling precut figures, I know I have been building up toward doing the same thing myself.

Covering the basics for D&D and Pathfinder is a good choice. I also highly suggest you do monsters as well, lots of monsters.

I designed all the Onemonk figures, so will be watching you closely... ;)

Thanks very much, Jim! I really appreciate the feedback and the support! Monsters are definitely on the agenda, but I see your point about making lots of them, especially for tabletop RPG's. I've finished designing the next two figures in this first group and will post another preview soon.

I'm also on the Cardboard Warriors forum, so I have seen and admired your impressive work, too. :)

How cool! These would even look cool sitting on a desk, outside of a game.

I'm definitely striving for a strong aesthetic appeal regardless of game utility, so thank you very much for that!

Thank you! :) I created the figure artwork myself and had them professionally printed and cut.

They look nice, not like other characters I've seen.

Are you familiar with Fat Dragon Games? They have some great paper buildings and terrain. These guys remind me of it :)

They have incredible work! That you would compare mine to theirs I take as quite the compliment! :)

:) I like the idea of paper, it's cost effective, a little time consuming, but our DM loves cutting it out and setting up the houses and walls.

I think the craftsmanship is part of the attraction for fans of the medium. Incidentally, my cardstock minis won't require any cutting - you'll just mount them to a base and away you go. :)
