Previous verse:

Whoever causes one of these little ones who believe in Me to sin, it would be better for him if a millstone were hung around his neck, and he were drowned in the depth of the sea. Woe to the world because of offenses! For offenses must come, but woe to that man by whom the offense comes!

"causes one of these little ones who believe in Me to sin" "it would be better for him" were drowned in the depth of the sea" "For offenses must come, but woe to that man by whom the offense comes!"

doesnt that look like a death sentence?

Nope. It has nothing to do with death sentence. It is simply a depiction of just how grave it is to spread sin and evil.

I'm just suspicious because Bible verses have been changing. It's not my illness either its a conspiracy that a lot of people believe (cern and the end times...)

Bible hasn't changed much. Whatever changes there are - those are rather minute that don't influence the overall message (or even particular teachings) in any meaningful way. :)

Um also why is there a large needle with super chunky yarn in it? God doesn't like arm knitting or something? I'm still confused about this picture...

It is a picture of an Orthodox bishop's crosier that becomes demonic (turns into demonic serpents) as the bishop plunges to the depths.

Yeah --- he stopped guarding his flock and let the serpents get out of control.

I'm not sure I trust that verse. :/ the Jesus I know was not in favor of drowning people. I think this is because of CERN but I have no proof to back up my claims. And I may be wrong but I think this is highly suspicious... I don't live by the Bible anymore because it's corrupted.

How is people corrupted?
Jesus simply says that causing other people to sin is far worse than ending one's life.

Not exactly Jesus being in favour of drowning people let alone telling people to drown them. What he said is clear: "it would be better if..." And by implication: "you know what, folks, the choice is yours! You choose to do good or evil in the world, and you get to pay the piper when the dance is done."

I don't know I don't like this verse. To me it sounds like someone could use this to support drowning as a capital punishment. I'm highly suspicious of this verse...

Sure. People can twist anything said in a book like the Gospel to suit their own agenda. That's nothing new! I don't see where this is Jesus insisting on or recommending capital punishment.

Just remember he also said that bit about not casting stones unless you yourself are sinless.

I think it's the hard and uncomfortable verses, the ones we really have to think about what he's saying, that reveal deeper Truth. In this case the truth about which is the worse sin (the worse way to turn away from God): ending your own life(*); or forging a chain of sin to snare someone else? And that someone else, once led into a sinful life becomes more likely to do the same in his turn, to hurt others, to steal & defraud, to abuse, to kill. And so, like malware, it spreads from generation to generation, community to community.

(*) I don't consider suicide sinful so much as a symptom of some terrible spiritual disease, but I know suicide has traditionally been viewed as such.
