Hi all

Just 4 new renders today! I've managed to introduce YET another character... Well at least she survived the Dalektron onslaught - for NOW!!!
Wait till she realises she needs to use Morse Code to contact the control room... Hope she has remembered how?!?

Paramount...

The only thing I remember from the Girl Scouts 1958 to earn my explorer patch

I can 'just' recall Cubs (learned to ride an electric go-kart of sorts and the finer point on how to make a piano cry and charge around a large hall screaming - for no apparent reason?!?) and Scouts: lots of badges as you mention - couldn't get enough of them. Boys Brigade (played bugle and lead drum and wanted more and more and more badges and drill and camp...). But these organisations are great for youth and teach you/us new tricks and discipline and how to find your way in life!!!
Bet getting that explorer patch was a proud moment...
Good days...
And a much as mum used to tell me to watch out for strange men in the BB - I never had a bad or negative moment/s in all those years.
:D (Big Grin)

Oh-Yeah! Well I guess occasionally anomalies (:o (Eek) ) will allow even the unexpected to happen!!! :) (Smile)

I always thought I grew up in an era where kids were safe. My mother was overly protective that grew into an actual fear (long story). I personally believe kids today, despite technology would be better off with the childhood era I experienced. It’s unfortunate that the numbers of kids involved in the Girl Scouts and Boy Scouts continues to drop...another victim of our technology overload.

I feel sorry when I hear about many 'youths' spending most of the day (and sometimes the night with phones under pillows) on call phones truly believing they MUST keep in touch non-stop with 'social' media. My younger cousins are a mess with having to keep picking up the that sodding device having become addicted to responding al the time every time. The last time I was overhearing listening to that younger group about how they lived their lives I was seriously thinking: These beings are out future!!! It is scary! I was mentioning to an older relative that our family are related - by surname - to a world famous scientist, which linked up on a genealogy site/database, and the overhearing 14-year-olds went wild.....  "Oh-my-God! Oh-my-God! Were famous! Quick! Get on Facebook!" or whatever... MAD! Totally Mad!
I guess these personality/character building organisations would be deemed un-cool today! Says it all really...
