This was one of my first cosplays, and as such I didn't know how to sew. The entire costume was made by Joanie (a.k.a. The Aerisness, cosplay.com ID: 38275). I only made some minor edits to fitting and detail (mostly on the staff, though that isn't pictured here). More pictures from the shoot can be found here.
I love this cosplay, and Kevin's excellent photos. So just ignore the kinda weird faces I tend to make and wobbly bits on me. I first wore Yuna in 2007 but have pulled her out a few more times because the costume is so lovely. x3 One day I hope to make my own Yuna costume (or several! ^_^).
Thanks to =The-Cosplay-Scion for the lovely Pyrefly edit!
Photographer: Kevin Chan (Solar Tempest).
Costume: Joanie (The Aerisness).
Now I can really see WHY Cosplay-Scion has been bigging you up repeatedly!
You are a true beauty - externally, and internally - paper-stars....for this picture paints more than a thousand words as to your extraordinary character!
It is the photo which seriously captured my attention >>> imagination: when I was just browsing through this section - to see what else you had done (apart from Star Trek re-enacting)....for it was just so mesmerising!
As a matter of fact: I had to do a double-take, and click on it to check whether or not it was actually you, and not some random beautiful woman in an atmospheric advertisment.....cos in it; not only do you look amazing <> different at the same time, but you also ooze so much substance; essence; loving warmth; energy; harmony, and signature as to your Greater Divine Nature.
However Kevin did it: he deserves immense credit!
I say you should enlarge it >>> print it, and frame it, and put it on your wall for posterity
......for this is a work of unforgettable art if you ask me!
