I have just under
1 week until term starts again.
I'm going to a conference next week
but in the rest of the time I'll be reading through notes etc and will actually have time to draw! (Shocking, I know)
Thing is, I'm not really sure what to draw because as usual, inspiration isn't hitting at the same time as free time.
So, for the next 2 weeks I will be open for commissions (these will be CLOSED from mid September to December, as I will be busy doing final year things so it's really your last chance if you want something as a gift for Christmas *hint hint*)
I can do ACEOs, or larger such as pet portraits. Note me if you're interested, I take PayPal. ACEOs are cheaper, and range from £5-15 depending on detail.
Of course, these would all be traditional and shipped to you~
I don't expect many people to bite on that, so I'll open up some ACEO requests BUT the catch is you can't request characters or things like that, only general things/themes. For example, a winged cat, koi-fish mermaid, a seascape of the Cornish coast etc.
You could request my mousalopes doing things though :3
You won't get the originals either, but if you like what I've drawn I can sell you the original for a dicounted price (compared to a commission) so it kinda works like a roulette commission. Otherwise, I'll keep the originals for sale/trade later on.
◆If possible, your age?
◆When did you start drawing?
From about 3-4 years old
◆Which hand do you use for drawing?
◆Which is easier to draw - male or female?
Female... I find it really hard to draw men that don't look like traps
◆Which is easier to draw - long hair or short hair?
◆Is it easier to draw the head facing towards the right or the left?
I can draw both fine, but I guess facing left is a bit easier
◆Is it easier to draw the side view of the face or the front view?
Front view. My profile drawings look like... ugh XD
◆What do you have problems in drawing?
On humans, the usuals (hands, feet, noses). Otherwise - mechanical objects (e.g. cars, motorbikes) and buildings.
◆What do you like to draw?
Animals and fantasy
◆Are you a traditional artist or a digital artist?
◆Where do you start drawing from?
Usually with a circle for the head
◆What is your drawing habit that you are aware of?
I start sketching too big for the paper and end up missing off the feet >:
◆Any tips for colouring/shading?
I always try to use just 3 colours when I'm mixing paints. It really brings the whole thing together and makes it pop.
◆How long does it take to finish a piece of art?
Really depends... ACEOs usually 1-2hours, larger paintings 3-4h plus
◆What music do you listen to while you draw?
My awful collection of game, anime and VOCALOID music.
◆How long does it take you to come up with an idea?
How long is a piece of string?
◆Your favourite drawing utensils?
Watercolours win by far. Next to that it's pencils and markers
◆Your favourite colour/the colour that you use a lot?
My favourite colour is green but I think I use brown and blue a lot.
◆Your favourite style(s)?
Realistic cartoons - not complete realism but stylised enough so it's still crisp and expressive.
◆What kind of artist are you aiming to be?
Just being able to do art and sell it in a few years' time is good enough for me. You are NOT authorised to copy or trace my artwork in any way without my express permission. To Do List
