I thought that this is one of the funniest comics I've ever seen on Deviantart.com. It has a simply amazing style to it. And the best part had to be the sheer innocence of Coco during all of this. This made my day, no doubt! The technique of drawing was flawless! the impact even though it made my day it only provided a quick laugh, but it made me much happier! The story was so flawless, the only thing that made me not like it a bit was, 'How the hay did, Coco wind up in Ponyville?'. But either way it was an all around BRILLIANT comic, and thank you for making my day dear, Pandramodo!

I personally don't critique any artwork if I don't think it's worth my time... and this comic is HILARIOUS! So it is worth my time!

The thing about comic strips nowadays is that they're afraid to allow ponies to critique them... or they're like me and they're just too poor to afford Premium membership <img src="e.deviantart.net/emoticons/c/c…" width="15" height="15" alt=":'(" data-embed-type="emoticon" data-embed-id="372" title="Crying"/>

Never the less, I digress with a breakdown of the comic!

First, Coco Pommel is by far the least used background character that was an influential part of the mane six character story line.

Second... HOW DO YOU NOT KNOW THAT YOU NEED A NEEDLE TO TAKE A BLOOD SAMPLE FROM A PATENT COCO POMMEL!?!? HOW?!?!

Third, I feel that the visuals of the comic are spot on and very well executed. The text is easy to read and well colored. As well as the comedy is spot on with how a clueless pony could take blood from a patient... but still... HOW!?!?!?

I conclude with a nice rating (Because the two other ponies who critiqued this comic gave it a, what I feel to be, sub-par rating for my standards.

I rarely see anyone with the same creativity and ingenuity as Pandromodo. There's always the best effort possible in the jokes and dialogue. Yet, because of this, the art style in not the best. Most people can draw exactly like this without trying. Vision is rated low because the artist appears to have a comfort zone that they won't go past. The art has less impact than deserved though, In this particular strip, I will go over esactly why I rated each thing as it is.
Vision: The artist uses slightly overused joke of "I was supposed to use this?". but it is very nice in the context used. This is common of Pandromodo, though, to use an overused joke in a great context.
Originality: Comics have not been made of this joke yet, so effort had been put in, but refer to Vision for why it is not higher.
Technique: Basic drawing style is bland, with the exception of unique expressions and attention to detail and collateral to jokes (i.e Hoof poking out in final panel. I still wait in anticipation for the artist's new ideas, as some are incredible and could not be better.
Impact: Impact is rated low because the artist uses bland drawing style and could obviously do better. I see many artists with a future that aren't fully realizing it Pandromodo is one of them. I would love if he spent more time on his drawing instead of thinking of the most impressive jokes.

I haven't see anything like this and the drawing style is fantastic. It didn't have that big of an impact except a quick laugh. I really like how you drew the facial expressions of the nurse. Coco's eyes in the 4th frame are exactly what I'd expect to, full of innocence even though she was about to commit murder. I also liked the last frame the best. The pony trying to crawl for help and the nurse being like "What the buck just happened in here?", plus the shock of coco and the other nurse really got me cracking up. All in all you did a wonderful job.

Wait, how does the Syringe not have a needle?
AuttumntheGuardian's avatar
It's a separate piece from the syringe that they dispose after use so they're not using the same needle for 20 different people.

Hmm it's like toilet paper, you can only use it once on one person. Because if you use the same piece on more other people you and those other people can get viruses that'll make them sicker then they already were.

The needle acts like the lid on a jar and the syringe is the jar.

Makes sense?
coolblackeagle10's avatar
Yes, but she acted like there was no needle on the Syringe...
AuttumntheGuardian's avatar
That's because there wasn't one. They have to insert the needle to the syringe, most syringes always start without the needle inside and will need to be put inside manually.
coolblackeagle10's avatar
Then how'd she get the blood with no needle?
AuttumntheGuardian's avatar
That's what's so scary, i don't know. Probably used something that isn't supposed to be used for drawing blood.

But what i do know, that pony may never see the light of day XD

Reminds me of Pinkie Pie's Lament song, trying to find a new job. Poor Coco, and poor patients.  www.youtube.com/watch?v=dPYvPg…
