Specimen KG-99 and G-64
Intelligence level: High
Size Class: Emperor and King
Ghidorah first appeared in 1964 and was one of the first extraterrestrial kaiju. When Ghidorah first appeared the military could do little to stop his rampage and he levelled much of China before the combined forces of M-61, G-54 and R-64 to defeat him at which point he fled back to the safety of the stars. Ghidorah would later appear in 1999 after going through what is known as Dorat Metamorphosis, he returned larger and more powerful than before with several changes in appearance which led many to question if it was the same creature. This new Ghidorah known as King Ghidorah seemed to mostly ignore humanity and their futile attempts at killing him. King Ghidorah had one main goal, hunting down and killing kaiju, it’s unknown if it was as revenge or so there was no competition on earth but regardless KG-99 killed some half a dozen kaiju before humanity put into action Operation Final War. Which ultimately killed the monster. KG-99’s remains can be seen on display at both the Kaiju History Museum of America and the Mount Fuji Memorial Museum.
Several notable differences can be viewed when comparing Ghidorah before and after his metamorphosis (of which the cause is unknown) some of these differences are the almost double in body size, the change of the wing structure and the change from quadruped to biped. Ghidorah displayed several other worldly abilities such as the outer heads ability to produce lightning like beam attacks and in KG-99’s case the ability of what is known as gravity beams which are capable of throwing and moving objects almost like a form of telekinesis. Ghidorah’s most notable feature however is the fact that he has three heads, each head has its own consciousness to a degree as demonstrated by the fact that the heads were observed nipping and biting at each other seemingly arguing, the middle head however is in control of everything below the necks. Ghidorah’s home world is unknown although his traces can be seen on several planets such as mars (leading to theories of what happened to past life there)
One can only hope that KG-99 was the last of his kind...
