I noticed these vegetable veins the other day....found some in butterbeans. I hope they were meant to be there....
This is a very nice interpretation of that theme. And I'm fairly sure this way the veins are meant this time. :)

Thanks, celine. That means a lot to me.. 'v'

I've a lot of hand sketches in this 'noir' thick style on lined paper.. This being one of the few which have been born from digital. The voice in my head translating my thoughts into words is often 'noir' too.. in ways, I'd love to see modern people speak like this again. With the poor sound quality et all...

the ripples in cabbages are really voluptuous! For some reason I became inspired by the shape and texture of them whilst I was finishing this.

wow 21" o.O I have a 12" while my bf isn't using it. It's really great for sitting in bed a drawing and I can finally draw in proportion when using a tablet.
I think I'd prefer the bigger working area, but then again it's not so easy to carry.
Although ultimately for me I wouldn't shell out the money to buy my own XD so am lucky to be able to borrow.

The drawing is very lovely. I like the off black of the lines and the combination of delicate line and solid colour.
Some of these drawings remind me a bit of a series of images FALCOON drew. The eloquent style of line and expression in the character allows you to create something polished and complete without having worried about adding lots of colour or more of the figure

Yeah, the flexibility of a 12'' must be nice. My wrists feel heavy if I'm at the 21'' for too long. I've only managed short bursts, but in a way this is good.. Cus it makes you stop and consider your drawing in stages. A large, digital canvas is great for someone who doesn't normally work to that scale or more. It makes you feel bold!

And thanks, Jodie. Your opinions mean a lot..!

Yeah, I found I had to define the face a lot more the more I explored. It was the only way I could get into working with muscles (and other pullies).

And yesh.... I ought to take advantage of it a lot more. Espeically when he's nipped out to college or work... <.< !

Thanks, btw Ms Kat!! 'v'

Yeah... I am very lucky to have had that oppurtunity. That moment had been in my dreams for so long, and it makes the world of difference compared with a tablet!! I can't go back.. It's either cintiq or paper, hahahaa~

haha, glad you picked up on that. I'm a fan of old movies which I've only seen once. They send me tingling.. Just thinking about watching them again because their television appearance is extremely rare! Unusually, its the rich-thick speech distorted by the sound quality of the tape, far more than the visuals that I find stimulating. This one's inspired by the speech too..

And thanks, btw!!! 'u'
