This special commission miniature 1:12 Russian Wolfhound (Borzoi) was made by hand using polymer clay, wire, paint & applied alpaca wool fibers. Staged in this photograph on a miniature Bespaq carved wood table and a vintage pewter vase of cabbage roses (roses were made by hand using my own miniature petal pattern and cut out of fine colored paper, and attached to wire stems with glue). *the vase of roses actually took longer to make than the dog sculpture >wink<

Those roses! I just had to stare at my fingers for a while to compare and imagine having to handle petals that small. It's truly mindblowing how fantastic they look. The borzoi too obviously
These roses were made from one of my Cabbage Rose patterns which is cut by hand from paper, then petals are shaped using a glass stylus. I do not consider myself an expert miniature flower artist and only made these to use as props.
