chains by Painroses chains by Painroses
I made this request (based on this) for KunYKA like...
...
errr...

I don't even remember when, but it was almost a month ago probably...
It took a bit to be finished because I wanted to use watercolors, but then I forgot it for all this time and I am so ashamed I found it back only today, remembering that I didn't upload it.
onion head 'shame'
Sorry, I was a disaster at school and I'm still a huge mess as an "adult"... My sense of time doesn't really exist so I get lost and forget about everything if people don't remind me enough.
Forgive me!
Anyway!
Llama Emoji-56 (Hiding) [V3]  I hope you like it.

Well that poor tiny thing was too small and fragile to be chained like the owl, so I had to make it a little bigger and change the pose.
But I'll try to add them even if it's just a request, not a commission.

No you asked none of that, you just said "in same pose" nothing more.

I will now explain to you a couple of things that you have to fix in your mind if you want to deal with artists.

Like everybody, I have the right of free interpretation in a request as long as I don't have enough details to work on.
Also the drawing is finished and it's watercolor on paper, it's not easy to edit such a thing.
But I said that I will try and do my best anyway. Even if it's a free service and a favor I'm doing to you but a waste of time for me.

Thank god it's me now, if it was someone else you where sent to hell at your first reply, because the way you are asking sounds like you made a commission and I owe you the perfect scene you had in mind, but you didn't and I don't.
Phear nono

Know the difference between commissions and requests, because it is not a case that you are facing this kind of problem frequently.

This was a request. It means that you can use this drawing with my courtesy, but can't claim it as yours even if you have a certain idea of it or represents you in some way.
This is still one of my drawings which I spent time on, time that could have been invested differenltly, but I choose to draw this as a favor and to improve myself in some way.
So I have no obligation to do what you are now asking for with such a pertness.
Remember that requests are not a paid service and even if you asked for a drawing but it's not as you wanted, you have no right to drop tantrums like this.

Commissions however are a completely different matter.
They are payed requests based on a contract. This gives you the right to ask for whatever you want because it's a service based on the customer and the drawing is made just to be yours. It really belongs to you.
If the artist make something that you didn't ask for, you can choose not to finish the payment or to make the artist work again on the piece.
That's why if it was a commission, I would have asked for more details (even the background and the colors if necessary) to make the drawing you wanted. Letting you check the doodle many times even during coloration, to be sure that it was the exact same thing you had in mind.

So, you have to be more specific with the details you want on a drawing, but have in mind that artists make requests not just for your purpose, but as a favor or challenge, or even because they are bored and don't know what to draw so they use requests as pastimes.
It is not a duty for us to make drawings that you want for free.
Don't expect too much from requests, it's just more than enough if they are granted.

I don't use to copy the exact drawing of other people, I never did it. I do the composition that I like and make the drawing in my way, especially if it's just a request.
You have to tell all the details you want to be shown in that drawing, otherwise you'll be disappointed.

Anyway I'm sorry to hear that it happens with commisions too, but that's a lack of professionality by the people who are making the drawing for you.
An advice that I can give (if you are not aware of this) is not to pay the full commission all at once and before you've seen that it's what you asked for.
Just pay for the sketch first, or just half the price of the entire commission. Then when it's finished or when it's almost done and you are sure that it is what you want, you can give the rest of the money.
