Just quickly redrew this old chap, and gave him a little facelift. Nice to see how my style has changed over the years.
Done with Wacom Intuos 4 in Photoshop CS 6, 3, app. 3 hours.
Love both versions!
I wanna see a Little Mermaid parody with this thing
For me this work is one of the best i´ve seen in this great website, impressive (my inglish is a shit, I'm sorry) Tus creaciones son la puta caña!! Your vision on the worlds of HPL are great. Bye men!
" Paint me like one of your french fish."
Have you done Yig, or the serpent people?
I love this so much. Wonderful work!
That pose...I know that pose....its saying...come on over big boy....well there goes my sanity LoL
Really great! This is more like what I've imaged the Deep Ones to be like, not another reworked Creature of the Black Lagoon.
Cool job back-lighting the fins with the moonlight!
I think both this and the old version each have their merits. It's definitely more detailed here, but I think the more dreary color tone, deader looking eyes, and different head shape, and more needle-looking teeth of the older image is more creepy. That said, I always somehow mistook his belly for the other leg in the older image, which made him appear slimmer than he actually appears to be apparently.
He's almost cute now. I wanna hold out my hand and feed him some food pellets.
This is like a weird love child of a murloc and Gollum from the animated Hobbit movies (from the 1970's or 80's). Love it!
I'a, I'a Dagon.
Wonderful! Just fabulous texture and wetness to the eye. I'd love to see a link to the original, always encouraging to see how people improve.
Awesome lightning and texturing!
Nice technique and lighting, good job!
