google it if you don't know what i'm talking about :bucktooth:

we had to make one for World History AP; it's supposed to represent something about yourself... i don't really know how much i have to explain this... and we were allowed to go "organic" and not follow the traditional pattern

i spent about 3.5 hours on this last night :D
and i really enjoyed doing it!
yay for creative homework :w00t!:

You're amazing. I'd like to leave a long review of this piece, but frankly your gallery is just stunning, I can't help but just appreciate it in silence.

Keep doing your stuff, please.. It's inspiring.

This is amazing. I am studying mandalas as part of my master's degree in transpersonal psychology right now. And as part of this class I had to make a drawing of what kinds of imagery I have during meditation... I saw (and drew) swirls and stripes exactly like what you have incorporated here. This is gorgeous and fascinating!

it's really cool that you are studying mandalas :D what have you learned about them that relates to psychology? i'm interested :)

Well, since most behavioral and life patterns move in circles or spirals overall, mandalas can be like writing in that you gain clarity on some of these patterns by manifesting them on paper (or on screen). Whereas in writing you use words to flesh out and contemplate things, with mandalas you use colors, patterns, imagery, etc. Also, the nature of drawing a mandala, which requires focus and repetition, can be a form of moving meditation.
