A little Assassin's Creed fan comic made for 1191AD. We had to make something portraying Altair's life before the events of 1191. My first drawing in 6 years...woot!

Actually, funny story about that middle finger.
It started during the Hundred Years' War with the French fighting the British in 1337. The French used to capture the English's archers and they couldn't keep them as prisoners, seeing as how that requires money, time, and effort. So, to make sure they couldn't mess around with them again, the French would cut off the archers' ring finger, a finger required when it comes to drawing a bow and arrow.
So when the English would see the French, the archers who still had their ring finger would stick it up and say, "Pluck you!" as a taunt.
From there, it changed to the middle finger somehow and that's the origin of the middle finger. Neat, isn't it?
