Hey Gang, So after my post yesterday, I received some correspondence from one of my watchers talking about a difficult situation that he is currently in.  I wrote back to him about my financial struggles and the transition from high school to college to adulthood and complete self-sufficiency.  I thought I might detail that just incase some of you are interested in hear it because I'm interested in hearing about your journey as well.  Some of us end up where we always wanted to, and some of us change course when we encounter obstacles, and some of us find ourselves in places it never occurred to look.  So after reading this, if you feel like

Hey Gang, So this time last year I was neck deep and running behind on my MFA thesis exhibition. I still had a whole semester of putting up with crap from the faculty where I went to grad school.  There were a few talented people there, surrounded by a field of mediocrity hiding in Academia...I suspect this is the case in most schools.  At this point I think I had maybe one poster done and I don't think I even used real idea what I was going to write in my thesis defense paper, a little bit of fear and a whole lot of anger and frustration.  Things worked out for me at the end of the semester...heck they went better than ok, but as th
