It seems like the only people that appreciate this message are people who have gone through what we have. Everyone else is too quick to jump on the bandwagon of one extreme or another, when it's not a black and white issue.
I find it amazing that 90% of the comments here are all some variation of 'YES DRUGS ARE TERRIBLE AND SHOULD NEVER BE USED ON CHILDREN' and totally discount the reason why these drugs were researched, tested, and released for use.
I'm so tired of seeing pieces like these. Because of messages like these, kids that DO need meds aren't getting them. I'm not saying everyone needs to drug their kids, but it seems like everything is always one extreme or the other...and that isn't the way life is. Everyone is different.
I had a .02 gpa and was suicidal, and I started taking adderall and I brought my gpa up to a 2.1 and managed to graduate. I would probably be dead right now if it wasn't for the drugs.
My best friend's sister refused to medicate her son with chemical drugs, and tried to fix his seizures naturally. He ended up having two gran mal seizures in a week and died.
People just need to be logical, and take everything in moderation. Overdrugging is terrible, but so is depriving people of the medical treatment they need, and nobody seems interested in stating that.
I do love the visual of this, just the message I dislike.
