I so love the sea like this-once in the middle of the night when we had a wild storm i went out on to the pier and sat a while listening to the waves crashing about while the thundered roared  and the lightening lit the night shy-it was awe inspiring-wild powerful and i felt so free so alive!!
any how back to your capture :D (Big Grin) i like that it is in B/W PLUS the angle i like also.
the small figure gives the viewer the sense of power the sea can muster up and adds to atmosphere-from my perspective!

Thank you very much for your insight Hug I also love the elements and their demonstrations of power. I bet I was one of the few children that ran to the windows whenever there was a thunderstorm instead of hiding... This photo was taken exactly to demonstrate how small we are when compared to the elements. And the title - taken from the song "Every breaking wave, from U2 - demonstrates that the sea can be our friend and feed us - like in this case, with the fisherman - but can also crush us if we don't respect it.
