Description

I've seen the Hobbit movie, An Unexpected Journey, the 14th, I was impressed and amazed by the its' design and visual, all was trully magnificent. Of all the character's design the one I liked most was Thrór, son of Dáin, heir of Durin the Deathless, father to Thráin and granfather to Thorin II Oakenshield. So I decided to paint a portrait of the king following the movie design, and voilà! Here it is. The background is painted with the colours of Erebor's building in the movie (The Lonely Mountain was just gorgeus). And yes he's holding the Arkenstone.
Alan Lee and John Howe (And team) have all my respect for creating such a wonderful images, powerful and stunning. Also we shall all thank PJ for doing such an awesome job with the movie.

Hope you'll like it.

Ps:The only think I did not like was the change in Azog's storyline, but... I don't really mind the film was pure awesomeness.
