I highly recommend watercolors, it can be very relaxing to work with brush and water. Thank you again!! I really appreciate it

I don't mind at all, I'm always happy to answer questions about watercolors!
I use Windsor and Newton brand watercolors, with a few tubes of M. Graham and Co lying around also. THE MOST IMPORTANT THING WITH WATERCOLORS: use high quality everything. Don't buy cheaper tubes/cheaper paper. I HIGHLY recommend Windsor and Newton for the tubes, and Arches watercolor pads for paper. Don't be afraid to spend the money on yourself- it REALLY improves the quality of work to have a high grade paper that holds the colors properly. Brushes are whatever though in my opinion, use what feels best in your hand/not awkward. I like to think of watercoloring as sort of pulling and stretching a little blob of color around, rather than drawing to fill in space. It helps keep your hand loose.
I might throw together a tutorial some day! I'm so glad you enjoy the work, let me know if you have any other questions :)

Try Arches, if you can afford it!! It's AMAZING. It like... it takes the colors you put down, and KEEPS THEM BRIGHT. They don't spread out/dry a paler shade. They stay super super clear and bright. Plus, minimal paper warping
