As you may have noticed I've been uploading lingering pieces that I've created between my last art post and now. I'm planning to come back full force in the next few months. I've got more art projects up my sleeves and I've been tinkering with the life and times of a cat girl comics again. I'm aiming to make it a habit of keeping this gallery updated.
In the last year, I've had a lot of adventures. I've tabled at a small convention in KC a couple of times, applied for a larger convention in 2018 and 2019 but wasn't able to be approved, taken commission projects that were larger than the ones I did at artist alley tables, and tried to succeed in a lot of artistic growth. It's been a ride. Along with that, I've also moved out of my parent's house at last! My boyfriend bought a house and we moved in together this last January, and earlier this month we got a pair of teenage kittens. It's been a big milestone being able to live on our own and figure things out. Thankfully we're both pretty good with finances, so things haven't been a struggle. Learning to do the house keeping has been interesting, though. We're both very different in what we consider clean, but we make it work. I'm just so excited with what the rest of this year holds and I really want to make the most out of it. I applied for an artist alley table at Anime Nebraskon, and I'm just waiting to hear back. If I'm not able to table there this year, then 2019 will just be a hiatus year for me as far as cons go, but I'll still be making art and eventually this year I'm going to seriously open up commissions. 2020 I've got plans to do multiple different conventions, artist alley application approval permitting.
This is going to be my get it together year, and I'm rocking and rolling ready to go!
Let's do this!
