Chapter 2: Uninvited guests Mowgli woke from his sleep with Karina with a start as he heard a rumbling going on outside, then he noticed even the cup beside Karina was shaking. "Karina, get up." Mowgli said gently. Karina did wake up, and she kissed Mowgli gently. "Good morning, my love, what's going on?" Karina asked with a bit of concern in her voice. Mowgli looked at her with great care in his eyes. "I don't know, but I'm going to find out." Karina nodded and placed a furry hand on Mowgli."You mean WE are going to find out." Karina responded with a smile. Mowgli nodded as the two quickly got dressed and ran out of the room. I'm a hurry. , No royals were found anywhere in the Palace "Mowgli, where is the rest of your family...its not like them to be this quiet..." Karina noticed, worried. Mowgli agreed. "I don't know where everyone is, but we have to get out of -" he was cut off when more rumblings occurred this time much stronger. Most lost his footing and accidentally fell onto Karina in an awkward position, Mowgli blushed, "Hehe, sorry, my love!" Karina smiled."It's alright! I'd say in different circumstances we'd stay like this!" Mowgli helped Karina up and continued to make their way to the main entrance... which was open. Outside, Mowgli and Karina stood in shock. Wolves were in a panic. King Rama and Queen Raksha were staring at something... something in the sky. "Mother! Father! What's going on?" Mowgli asked in concern, Karina right behind him. "Prince Mowgli, Princess Karina. It's not safe for you two... you need to get put off here!" King Rama told the two with great care and concern in his voice. "But Father, what's going on?" Mowgli asked as Rama turned his head toward the clouds."we have visitors..." Mowgli and Karina followed the King's gaze and noticed massive arrow shaped objects move towards the kingdom. Rama turned to his wide Raksha. "Go take Mowgli, Karina, and our daughters to the secret tunnel and get out of here, I'm going to greet our visitors." Raksha looked at her husband with tears in her eyes."But what if they're not friendly...what about you!" Rama smiled as he held his Queen in her arms and kissed her. "Don't worry about me, I love you." As Mowgli, Karina, and Raksha started running away, a massive thump was felt... then another. The three turned in horror as four legged metallic beasts lumbered twards the Kingdom and surrounding the beasts were man...but unlike any that anyone had heard of...these men were clad in white armor, and helmets that covered their faces.
