Finally foraying back into commission territory. So if anyone is interested I am available. More recently I am a cover artist, I have also done vignette illustrations for both book and magazine interiors. I also can do comic style illustrations, portraits, character sheet design for D&D or other RPGs. Currently I am doing more digital art but I can do traditional illustrations/sketches but delivery of these is usually longer. Prices will be posted in a different update.

So, on day 306, we finally got Tumbleweed (our motorhome) onto our property. After getting the electric installed and turned on, we can now plug it in versus using the batteries all the time. Unfortunately the town building & fire (code) is again on our case about being on the property. Apparently they don't understand that a court decision is final and they never bothered to file an appeal against the decision. So it's off to consult with a lawyer this week. Fun fun...not.

So, it day 143 of living in the RV, 'tis a bit cramped::cough::cozy::cough::, but were getting by. Still have to set up the Internet as well as the internal power, especially seeing as we're hitting the 90s all this week so ac would be nice Stay hydrated out there everyone.

Things will never be the same.

This morning, at 2:30 am est, my Mother passed away due to complications related to covid-19. She passed peacefully on her sleep. I should be relieved that whatever suffering she was going through is over, but I'd give anything to be able to have seen her one last time, just to say hi and tell her about my day and how things were going. She was one of my biggest supporters and fans of my art. And was always so proud of what I did. I last saw he this past Christmas, and will hold that time in my memory forever. If you read this, tell those that matter in your life how you feel. Don't put off that phone call or visit.

This past weekend was not a great one. Both my Mother and Step-father were taken to the emergency room. He ended up having a case of walking pneumonia and she had an unrelated infection. He was discharged while she was admitted as her condition (yes I'm being a bit vague for personal reasons) was worse than his. The hospital did test both of them for covid19 as is their policy to do so. He testes negative and was sent home that night. My mother's test results, for some reason, did not come back until Monday, she tested positive. Hey all,Can't find if I already posted about this but we had to move, after four years in that apt., we had been house hunting and had found a really nice place. Unfortunately the money I was promised from my Mother didn't come thru. So we ended up buying this mobile home that was/is in need of some rehab. It's a lot smaller than the apt was, but at least we own it outright, and have been working on it since the move. Quite a bit of our things are still in storage and will be there for the foreseeable future. This makes art a little difficult to do at this time. Although my new job sees me off for the next month.
