I do have commissions open-they always have been, but I never really broadcast it. Mostly because I didn't have a nice, organized way to advertise them.
~*I do now*~
So heck! If you're interested in getting some art from me, please give it a look! There's a variety of options at a variety of prices
Note me if you're interested!
In addition to commissions, I also got me a Ko-Fi
account, if anyone wants to make donations. Though I have been considering doing some kind of art/thing in exchange for the Ko-Fi donations, just because I still feel weird about straight up taking money for nothing
Interestingly, the reason I didn't go to Patreon; because I didn't know if I could keep up with the monthly rewards XP Maybe I can use the Ko-Fi as a Patreon, minus the part where they take a share of your earnings? I dunno, brainstorm with me if you like.
So! About that raffle!
I mentioned it in a status somewhere, but I'd been considering making my own raffle for you guys, instead of just advertising other people's raffles.
It's not going to be anything super complicated, and the prize(s?) will most likely be art from me, unless others want to donate prizes, or I become a rich man all of a sudden
But! The raffle isn't starting quite yet. I want to start it once I hit 50,000 pageviews, because it's a nice clean number, and it gives me a "reason" to have a raffle. Since that's a little less than 300 pageviews, it shouldn't take too long to start up
If you have any suggestions for this soon raffle, lemme know!
Now this "more???" section?
I really just wanted to talk about ArtFight real quick
This year was my first year participating, though I had heard about it the year before.
I didn't really know what I was doing at first, I wasn't sure if the point was to draw as many pictures as quick as possible, or if it was essentially a series of well done art trades. I'd say I still don't have an answer, but when I would do the quicker ones, I wouldn't feel as good about it, so the goal (for me at least) isn't that. Though-as always-my goal is to be able to make quality art at quick speeds (like everyone else seems to be able to do???).
But! I had a lot of fun, I even had this fairly long revenge art chain going
And, of course, the team I was on WON
I'd suggest you guys give it a look when it rolls around next year! Maybe even play if you're up to it!
Also, I don't know if it interests any of you cool kids, but I have a toyhou.se now as well. Right now, it really only has the adopted characters I have, and no coding XD Eventually, I'll put my own created characters up there, when I'm less lazy and feel like writing
Also, does anyone know etiquette there? Do I thank people for faving my characters, or is that considered annoying there?
Additionally, it's almost October. Exciting for many reasons. Normally, I'd say mostly because of Halloween, but this
year, it's because I can actually see my band? Irl?! I hope?!?? I'm simultaneously absolutely ecstatic and terrified
But also! ART CHALLENGES! (and of course glorious spooky times, but that's a given)
There's Inktober, Kinktober, Goretober, and I'm sure a plethora of other themed challenges.
And I kind of
want to try one? But honestly, I don't know if I'll have the time
Of the ones I know about, it'd probably just be between ink and gore, but if you know of any other October art challenges, throw them at me please.
Last thing, I kind of
made some ~*aesthetic*~ changes to my profile. It's kind of neat
It's not as full blown fancy as premium profiles can get, but it's still a fun thing to dabble in. And by dabble, I mean get lost for many hours in all the cool stuff that you can find for your page that's free and awesome, and then fret over what theme to go with, before ultimately picking something simple to start out with
