Thanks a lot for your kind words.

This was taken in a place not far away from the town of San Ramon, in the Province of Alajuela, Costa Rica.
The place is called Las Musas (The Muses). It's a recreational/eco complex, this is just the first of several waterfalls, but the other ones can only be reached by very small steep forest trails, and we (my wife and sister) arrived here just out of curiosity from a road sign (we where on our way back home after getting breakfast in a really good homemade cooking style restaurant WAY out of town).
My sis was wearing heels, so we only strolled around the main complex, and came upon this beauty of a waterfall, thank god I had my camera with me.
You can bet we're going back! This time with hiking shoes though.

This photograph is a true trap for the eyes of the beholder.

Sassaputzin has time and time again delivered out-worldly shoreline landscapes, straight out of fantasy novels.
And this is no exception.

But this time there is something else present here, something besides the almost palpable textures, vivid and intense colors, sharp detail and dramatic lighting.

This time a magical yet imperceptible spiral is created by the grassy edges and the mysterious rock formations that stand stoically against the crashing sea, finally reaching the broken rocks on the weathered shoreline.

Not quite the Golden Mean of the perfect Nautilus shell, but still strong enough to make our eyes travel it's length, linger on the sharp edges of broken rock and then, beginning from the smooth green grass, embark on the journey once again.

A dramatic and beautiful shot, that sneaks up on you the more you look at it.

Amazing work! I so love the scars! Lost a tooth as well? Since these guys replaced teeth like sharks, he must have lost a part of his gum too? Doubt it was a bite, more like a two digit claw, so another T-rex?
