Here's the latest commissioned ponies. Because my brother is still settling in from his move, I finished these two up. The sculpted manes and tails were done by me of course.

Pinkie and Pinkamina are $80 each, and the custom painted eyes are a little bit more, in case anyone is wondering. =)

These are some of the best customs I've ever seen. Would you do a finished Pinkamena, or only the kit? I don't have the money for one right now, but if I happen into some extra cash I might have to get one. Seriously, I'm blown away by how good these look. No, SERIOUSLY. lol

I've got a sculpt for Pinkamina-- and my brother and I have already done one as a commission. Her price can vary a bit though depending on if you want stock or repainted eyes. For stock, she's the same price as Pinkie-- $80. The price for repainting the eyes varies depending on how extensive you want the repaint to be.

Where are you getting the ponies you're using for bases?

Target, Toys R Us, Walmart, Hasbrotoyshop.com.... I tend to pick them up here 'n there when I find them on sale or when I find ones that I'm looking for. =)
I had over a hundred of the buggers at one point while my brother and I were getting some of the commissions ready. A fair amount have been dispersed to the corners of the globe at this point.

Do they come with hair or a plastic mane? If it's hair, I like your molds a lot better!

The ponies normally come with doll hair. There's a number of us who sculpt hair out of clay and other stuff here on dA and within the Brony community-- I think I'm the only one who makes molds and casts of my sculpts though.

So I'm definitely getting some kits soon, what's your method for Cutie Marks/eyes? Any sort of protection afterwards so it doesn't rub off?

For the cutie-marks and eyes I repaint (which I don't do too often) I usually just paint them with acrylics. I haven't used a protective coating on any of them yet-- For Daring Do's cutie-marks, they're pretty well protected by her wings. The shirt color I painted on did get a protective coating though as I expect it to be handled directly here-n-there.
If I truly expect something to get handled, I would hit it with a protective acrylic spray.

I don't know about the eyes man.

They're painted per request. There are many different expressions that Pinkamina went through in Party of One, and many other non-canon expressions as well... my own Pinkamina will be a more reflect a look from Party of One, but it's all personal preference.

When are you going to be taking orders for just the kits again (or maybe you still are idek!)? I don't know if I should wait to get all the ones I want or what XD But I know some aren't done or ready so..

but my money, take all of it

/sits patiently o_o

I've got a wait-list for several of them-- Pinkie, Pinkamina and Surprise... but for most of them I need to make new molds. Once I get the new molds made I'll officially reopen again.

The crazy version turned out good. It's too bad there are no molds for ponies that are frowning, that might fit her better.

Yeah, a long time ago I wanted to resculpt heads also-- but it's 8 months later and I'm still working on hair. Maybe in a dozen years I'll get to it! ;)

Well, you could cut away at the snout and remold one with a frowning face...

Oh, I know. It's really more a matter of finishing/stopping all the rest of the current projects and making time for something new. In the grand scheme of things, it's really low on my list of priorities though...
