Hi everyone! I'm so sorry I'm practically never on deviantart anymore. I check it maybe once every few months. Busy with life- caricaturing at Disney, trying to buy a home, helping my husband with storyboards, and whatnot. Check out my children's boo ...
Ladies and Gentlemen, my first children's book has been released! The book is titled, "Some Cats Are Small, Some Cats Are Tall," it runs 24 pages (12 back and front), and includes a picture book as well as trivia and activity pages. Wonderful gift for any child, ages 2-8. Pick a copy up today on Amazon, available for Amazon's Kindle, Kindle app, and in paperback. :)

In my opinion, there's a line you draw between life drawing/photography and pornographic submissions.
Now, I know some will argue that porn is art. In some cases, I agree. But with some of the submissions I've seen, it's just someone taking a quick, run-of-the-mill snapshot of someone holding themselves in sexual poses where it doesn't have any "artistic value." I don't see any special lighting techniques, cropping, unique angles, what have you as well as a lack of emotion. It's just a picture of some guy or gal trying to turn on the viewer.
Too me, that's a sad excuse for "life photography" and dumbs down what art can be considered as good
