Description
Serious change of pace for me here, took a completely different approach to painting and wound up meeting all of my short term goals at once (Do an environment, use color extensively, loosen up, speed the fuck up). Spent about five or six hours on it.

I just noticed I've got an optical illusion going in the big columns. The lit parts are meant to be the faces, but if you look at it right, the alcove shadows become pillars and the light faces are windows into a cavernous blue expanse. Choose your own adventure!
