You know when you start drawing, and you're really trying to draw something well, but then it just never looks right so you start to stress? And when you get stressed no matter what you do, it always ends up bad? And then a drawing that you just wanted to make for fun became less fun?
How do you not do that? It seems like a lot of times when I go to draw or practice I get easily stressed and get nothing done, or at least nothing good done. I just want to have fun drawing again.

Character Consistency - A Massive Tip CollectionAnime and Manga Week

My protagonist during concept phase.
During my journey to try to bring my webcomic to life, I have been extensively studying and focusing on cool action poses, interesting backgrounds and fancy shading... only to find that there’s nothing more frustrating than not being able to draw your own characters properly.
Let’s face it, as much as acquiring any fundamental skill will help you in the long-run, in the end your characters are the heart of your story and nothing will happen without them. In order to tackle my biggest issue, I have accumulated tips, tricks, and folders of tutorials that I’ll summarise here for other webcomic artists in training.

Nuz Rules:

-Any Pokémon that faints is considered dead, and must be put in the

grave box.

-Can only catch the first Pokémon encountered in each area, and none

else. If the first Pokémon encountered faints or flees, there are no second

chances.

-Must nickname all of the Pokémon, for the sake of forming stronger

emotional bonds.

-Dupes Clause: Adjusting the first encounter rule to ban duplicate

captures.

-Can accept Pokémon that are received from NPCs.

-if runs into a Shiny Pokémon, it can still be caught, regardless of whether

or not it is the first encounter in the area.
