Seriously hating my computer right now

Went to restart my computer earlier, when it turned back on.....NOTHING. My screen was just...black. So, since I had no clue how to fix that or if I even could, I had to factory reset my computer. NOT HAPPY GUYS. Just lost quite a few WIPs that I had spent quite a few hours on, and all of my finished work that isn't saved on my sta.sh.
