The Woman Samurai Warrior
Tomoe Gozen 1157–1247, was a female samurai warrior, known for her bravery and strength.
She is believed to have fought in and survived the Genpei War (1180–1185). She later became the subject of legends, plays, and poems. Even today Tomoe Gozen is celebrated as a folk hero during Japanese festivals and has inspired comic books and cartoon characters.
Re-drawing due to the older version was terrible in my opinion. I'm still not 100% satisfied, but I did my very best.
How exactly she looked varied and in many illustrations and portraits of her during the times weren't the same, but I tried to make her armour looking as crediable as possible and refused to sexualising her as I've seen many artists doing so.
