Thanks for the tutorial.
I've been trying many different techniques with vector coloring. This did help in a few cases where shapes wouldn't stack right.
Thanks again.

Glad to be of help :)

Just remember -- all my recent work is done with this technique... and I mean *ALL* !! LOL. Even the horribly complex ones, like the one I'm about to post (it's about time I put up that WoW thing I've done... even if it's been rushed) : P

Yes, there are faster ways to colour in a shape and hide the bg in the process, but every now and then, this technique just makes things perfect. Oh, especially if you're colouring for print : P ! It creates the right colour 'knock-outs' without fear of overprinting colours. Course, Illustrator does that automatically anyways but meh... nothing beats perfection.

Ah well. I'll try not to bother you with the ugly details : P Keep on vectoring!

Thank you very much for adding those to your collection! I know you hear that all the time, but I really do mean it.

My pleasure. These will help me practice sketching poses as well as study light and shadow. I have found it helps to use real photos of beautiful people instead of other illustrations.
