FINISH THE STORY #35: FIRST DATE
I sat down next to her on the couch. It was time to start telling her the truth. But I couldn't just dive into the heart of the matter, so I started with the little things. I told her...
... how beautiful she looked. Girls liked that sort of thing, at least that's what Jimmy always told him.
"You're the most beautiful girl in the whole world.... more beautiful than... than... tha..." He blushed and hit himself on the side of his head. He'd been fumbling his words all night. Never before had he been in such close proximity to someone as beautiful as Colleen Warren.
"Uh... Uh... O-one s-second." He stuttered, "I'll b-be right back."
Embarrassed, he ran into the other room. He wasn't graceful at all as he clomped away with heavy, clumsy steps.
"I blew it. I blew it. I blew it!!"
Jimmy attempted to calm him down, "You didn't blow it, she's still here, isn't she?"
He nodded shyly.
Jimmy was good for situations like this, "You're making it a lot more difficult that it has to be... stick to colours, blue like the ocean... white like snow... and did you forget about the secret weapon?"
He looked toward Jimmy with a baffled expression, apparently he had forgotten.
Jimmy sighed, "Champagne and strawberries... Girls--"
"...love champagne and strawberries!!" He said finishing Jimmy's thought. "Thanks, man!!" He exclaimed as he bounded out of the room with the overstocked ice bucket in his hands.
"That's why I'm here, Buddy!" Jimmy called from the distance.
He set the bucket down on the table and poured out a tall glass of rust coloured champagne. He gazed lovingly into Colleen's eyes as he plopped two overly plumped strawberries into the glass. "One for you and one for me." He teased as he set the drink down in front of her. "Y-your eyes are as blue as the o-ocean... your t-teeth are as w-white as, fresh fallen snow.... your hair is as yellow as the sun... ...Your tears are like the waters of Niagara."
Colleen had long since given up calling for help. One shock from that collar was enough of a deterrent.
"Please, drink."`He whispered sweetly as he wiped mucus and matted hair from her face.
With very deliberate movements, she nervously took the glass of champagne off the table with her free hand. It was increasingly difficult to movie in the latex bodysuit and system of deftly tied ropes he`d put her in to control even the slightest of movements. Too much extension of the legs, and the noose would tighten, too much twisting of her torso, and it'd pull her already secured arm into a further unbearable configuration, and anything more than a whisper would send another 1200 volts directly to the base of her throat.
Bending ever so slightly from her waist, with her neck held as level as she could possibly hold it, she shakily took the glass from the table and used the tip of her tongue to sample its contents.
"Colleen," He continued, "I dreamt of this day for a thousand years..."
She was only half listening as she struggled against the noose that had slowly begun to tighten.
"I knew... I just knew that once you spent some time alone with me, you'd see that I'm not like they say I am..." He cooed while caressing the shiny black latex stretched over her warm thigh.
She jumped at his touch and the glass crashed, spilling its contents all over her legs. He glared at her and let out an irritated sigh as he refilled it, depositing in it, a straw he picked up from one of the trash piles on the floor. "Here." He said as he held it up under her chin, "... please.... drink.... sweetheart."
An uncontrollable rush of saliva, snot, and tears flowed freely off her chin and collected in the glass which gave everything a further bitter taste.
"S-s-s-s-s-s-s-t-t-top..... pl-please... n-no...more." She whispered.
Narrowing his eyes, he pelted the glass clear across the room, "YOU CANT EVEN SAY THANKS!!!?? He shouted nose to nose with a terrified Colleen before stomping into the other room, "Jimmy. Jimmy!" He cried out, "JIMMY!!!!"
Jimmy reflected back though the cracked wall mirror, smiling the playful way he always did.
"It's not working!!" He yelled into the mirror, banging his fists against the wall in frustration, "She doesn't like the champagne... she doesn't like her outfit... she doesn't LIKE ME!!!" He screamed.
Jimmy shrugged his shoulders and thought for a moment.....
"Hmmm... well.... why dont you cut off her other foot and see if she likes that."
