A Day at the Fair (BU)
Seagulls were flitting about in the sky, and the thick briny scent of the ocean filled the air. The sun was shining down brightly, and the sounds of lapping waves and the festivities of a summer celebration rang out along the beach. It was a beautiful day and princess Andromeda strolled about with her friends. Genghis was at her side guarding her, and Kirana, Cyrus, Vega, and Dajahr were trotting along behind. Every few seconds Vega would gasp in excitement and wander off to the newest exciting thing, usually a vendor’s tent with sparkling jewelry or cute costumes. Cyrus would follow closely behind her, and it was obvious, even since they were young foals, that the two cared about each other deeply. They would likely be mates in the future, but for now, they were just adorable friends that were still in denial about their feelings. Picking up her pace, Kirana approached Andromeda, on the side opposite of Genghis and whispered in her ear. “I wonder if those two will ever admit they

It was yet another sunny day in the Vaeril desert. More like a burning feeling on your back as you walked rather than just sunny but Aldhaer had somehow gotten used to it already, even though his black fur had heated up heavily already. At least a few spots of his coat were a bit cooler as Darnigha was taking a ride along again, laying on Aldhaer´s back, keeping a lookout for anything interesting. His travel partners did not have the same sort-of umbrella as Aldhaer though. Worst off were Velora and Cioragh, with their long coats, while Raghnall and Ahillia had shorter fur and were managing relatively well in the heat. Oonagh and Lou were not riding along and rather were tip-toeing around on the ground, trying to stay in the shadows of the Rukaan or some of the other travel companions. The group was relatively alright in terms of size, at least in Aldhaer’s eyes, as he was used to travelling in big groups, however, some of them seemed to not be as used to it, which was

A Festival of Friendship
The stable was finally settling in! What a day of preparation it had been, I was so ready for the event to happen now. We had been planning for weeks for this. Friends were going to come from all over. Neighboring stables and even some visitors from very far away! I had heard that some of the boucle friends were going to be flying in. This was going to big a big event for sure! “Ali!” North and T’sario came trotting over to me. The two had become pretty much inseparable lately. It was nice. They had found a companion in each other. “Ali! What do you think?” North nudged me playfully. “You both did wonderful work!” I nickered to them. “You really think so?” T’sario tossed his mane and pranced. He was obviously very proud. It all looked amazing! Everyone had pitched in but North and T’sario had definitely taken the lead! The sun was setting now and the decorations were coming to life! There were lanterns hung with sparkling fireflies inside. Ropes of fairy lights were hung on all the

Romana rolled her eyes. “That. I mean that.” “I think he looks quite nice,” Mr. Pink said pleasantly. Cendré winced. “I’d agree if I could actually see him.” “Look,” Draconis said, gesturing with his nose. “You think Steve is bad? Look at THAT.” Stepping out of the stables was a tall, slender and very elegant black horse with a mane and tail made of translucent clouds, adorned in golden jewelry with a distinctly Egyptian theme and a long, trailing diaphanous cape. But that wasn’t the horse Draconis was talking about; it was the mare who had appeared with a mild crack of thunder on this otherwise sunny day beside him. Her body was covered in pearlescent dragon scales, some a deeper purple, some almost white, over a coat that seemed a mix of white and a brownish-purple. The scales on her legs, shoulders and hips were golden and glowing faintly, and incredibly intricate—but that was nothing on the massive, sprawling mess of antlers crowning her head. They were as intricate and
(I wrote this for myself, please don't feel obliged to read it unless you really want to XD ) --- "I don't understand why we're here," moaned Archer. Her brother Fletcher rolled his eyes. "Because the king said we had to be," he grumbled. "But why? Surely the king has better things to do than make all his children unhappy for no reason?" Archer kept pressing. She and Fletcher weren't actually Gauntlet's children, but they were Bataille-blooded offspring of Gauntlet's consort Inara, which was close enough to get them lumped in with the rest. Their mother rounded the corner and frowned lightly at them, which for her was the equivalent of bared teeth. "Since when does King Gauntlet do anything without reason? Did you ask what this is all for, or did you assume the world revolves around you?" Archer was well behaved enough to look ashamed, but this time it was Fletcher who pressed. "Does that mean there's a reason? Do you know what it is? Why could we possibly need to hold social

A Day At The Rock Pools [Payment and Gifties]
Adrastos and Blossom had decided it would be a good idea to take Lalitya to the rock pools that Stella was so often telling Adrastos about. The weather had been nice for days, which wasn’t particularly unusual, what was unusual however was the fact there had been no chilled winds for quite some time. Lalitya was always full of energy, Adrastos sometimes wondered if someone was feeding him pure sugar on the side, they could be on their feet all day and Lalitya would still want to play by the end of it. Not that Adrastos minded too much, he found that he’d do anything for the little colt. Speaking of Lalitya he was currently bouncing about in between Adrastos and Blossom, waiting for Cinnabar to arrive. Blossom had mentioned taking Lalitya to the rock pools to Liberty the last time she had seen her and that somehow lead to Cinnabar going with them, again not that Adrastos minded at all. He was incredibly glad Lalitya had found a friend, he had been worried the little one would be too
