Guess who's getting the first disk of Batman: The Animated Series today in netflix? Is it me? Yer darn tootin' it is!

J.D. Salinger, one of my favorite authors, passed away on Wednesday, January 27th. I felt a deep connection to his works, and I gain a lot of inspiration through his words and his characters' eyes. He was truly one of the great writers out there who knew how to create art. He will be missed.Rest in peace, dear friend.

My desk is entirely in disarray and I'm scrambling to get all of my work done--and I'm actually excited about it! It's been a week and I feel like I'm in CREATIVE WORKS BOOTCAMP HYAH! With all the cults--I mean societies--I'm trying to join for the academia pat on the back type honor, my fiction workshop, the creative process class, and the comics I'm working on for the campus publications I feel like I'm in overload here, but a good kind of overload. I just hope I don't tap out my muse too early. I'm at a definite high point in my college career so far, so I'm riding these waves hangin' ten, baby!Also, if it ever decides to stop DOWNPOURI...
