My Bio
OpenBookSociety.com is the brain-child of creators Aaron and Dawn. The concept of OBS is simple: It’s an Online Book Club/Discussion Group for readers of the Supernatural genre. Think Harry Potter meets Twilight and absolutely everything in between! All age groups are welcome and we want our members to really be involved. We hope that Open Book Society will become a haven for fans of the Supernatural world.

Reading has been an important part of my (Dawn) life since I was a child. I recall going to the library each week and checking out an armful of books. I couldn’t get enough of vampires, werewolves, shape shifters, faeries, ghosts, fallen angels, time traveling, evil demons, gods & goddesses – I think you get the picture ;) It wasn’t cool to like or discuss other worldly beings when I was a child, but times have changed. We can now show our fascination and obsession with all things supernatural.

OpenBookSociety.com began with a need to participate in an Online Book Club or Book Group. I have loved supernatural and paranormal series for many years. I wanted a place to discuss all my favorite books, authors and series. Looking around, I couldn’t find anything that met my needs. That’s when I decided to start OBS.

Initially the site was only meant to be an online discussion group but the site continues to grow as we add more features and fun exclusives.

We have a monthly book club where we summarize, highlight notable quotes and come up with discussion questions related to the book we’ve chosen.
