I think this is a delightful piece that evokes tenderness & whimsey: there is such a fascinating implied back-story to the image.
Looking at the source material, you demonstrate a high level of technical skill in the way you've managed your chosen colour palette to achieve such a consistent faded, nostalgic atmosphere. The textures perfectly complement the overall look, & your blending is seamless.
I like the placement of the giraffe & the ladder/girl, & you've got the proportions exactly right between all the elements. I also like the angle of the flower - you resisted making it more vertical which I think would have detracted from the message. The vignetting draws the eye in to the main elements without being overdone, although perhaps it could have been a little wider on the right side.
Overall, I can't really fault it!
