I'm SO pleased with how this one turned out, which is something I don't let myself say often. I feel like I channeled my inner Ghibli and that this could be a poster for one of their movies.
The style is what I've been calling "flat color", though as you can see it turned out a little more than. I still had such a good time with it- from the lineart to the trees- and I'm looking forward to developing this style more in future comms.

The title "Serenity" is the name of the theme in The Black Shroud, where I imagine this scene is set. She's probably clinging to that tree after being cap bumbed by a train of 45 angry funguars...
